1. Equipment Overview The Battery Module PACK End-of-Line (EOL) Testing System is a fully integrated solution designed to validate the quality, safety, and performance of battery modules and PACKs at the final stage of production.
Safety Assurance: The EOL test helps identify potential risks such as thermal runaway, overvoltage, or short circuits, which could compromise safety. Performance Validation: It ensures that the battery pack delivers the expected energy density, capacity, and cycle life.
Not all manufacturers test the same way. Some test at shallow DOD to show higher numbers. Some stop tests when SOH drops a little. Some push the cell until true EOL for realistic numbers. One battery's “5,000 cycles” at SOH may mean just 4,000 in real use! One company's 3.2V 100Ah cells:
